CENTIEL Aims to Grow UK Market Share With Acquisition of MPower UPS
Swiss-based UPS manufacturer, CENTIEL SA, has acquired MPower UPS in a move to significantly increase its UK market share. Earlier in 2017 MPower joined forces with CENTIEL to market their leading-edge technology UPS products and has now become a subsidiary company in the CENTIEL Group.
Michael Brooks, managing director MPower UPS confirms: “Whilst it is very much business as usual for all of our existing customers, the acquisition now means we have the product range and financial strength to exclusively and proactively market CENTIEL’s power protection solutions to a much larger target market. These solutions include the technology leading CumulusPower™ and PremiumTower™ products. CumulusPower™ is a three-phase, modular UPS system which offers class-leading system availability and very low total cost of ownership and PremiumTower™ is a unity output power factor machine for critical loads of between 10kW and 60kW.
“The change is very exciting as we can now offer our valued client base a manufacturer’s commitment and backing meaning we can offer even better support,” continues Brooks. “The new structure also means we can target ever larger contracts and have access to ever greater resources whilst maintaining the quality and level of personal assistance we have become known for over the past 12 years.”
Filippo Marbach, founder of CENTIEL SA commented: ” CENTIEL SA needed a strong UK subsidiary to expand its market share in the UK and MPower UPS is ideally placed to fulfil this role. MPower’s highly experienced team have an excellent reputation for high quality service and support. By combining such service excellence with an unrivaled expertise in project delivery and CENTIEL’s class leading power protection products we believe we can provide compelling arguments why customers should trust CENTIEL with their critical power protection requirements.”
